What is Walmart MCS & WFS Sync?
v1.0
Walmart MCS & WFS Sync ‑ FOV is a Shopify app that connects your Shopify store to Walmart's warehouse and fulfillment network. It handles two distinct fulfillment flows that can both run at the same time:
WFS (Walmart Fulfillment Services) — Syncs orders placed on Walmart.com into your Shopify store and tracks them through to delivery.
MCS (Walmart Multichannel Solutions) — Fulfills orders from your Shopify store (or any other sales channel) using Walmart's warehouses, similar to how Amazon Multi-Channel Fulfillment works.
Who is this app for?
This app is designed for Shopify merchants who:
• Are active sellers on Walmart Marketplace
• Are enrolled in Walmart Fulfillment Services (WFS) — meaning Walmart stores and ships your inventory
• Want to sell from multiple channels (Shopify, TikTok Shop, Amazon, etc.) and fulfill everything through their WFS inventory at Walmart
You do not need a separate account for MCS. If you're enrolled in WFS, you already have access to MCS through your Walmart Seller Center.
Key benefits
• Feature: What it means for you
• Walmart.com order sync: Every Walmart.com order appears in Shopify automatically
• Shopify → Walmart fulfillment: Shopify orders are fulfilled from your WFS inventory
• Live inventory sync: Shopify always reflects your real available-to-sell stock at Walmart
• Multi-channel support: Works across Online Store, TikTok Shop, Amazon, and other channels
• Automatic tracking writeback: Tracking numbers from Walmart update the Shopify order automatically
• Returns handling: WFS return requests sync back to Shopify
How the two modes relate
WFS and MCS use the same pool of inventory — your products stored at Walmart's fulfillment centers. The difference is which direction orders flow:
• WFS orders originate on Walmart.com and need to appear in Shopify
• MCS orders originate on Shopify (or another channel) and need to be fulfilled by Walmart
Both modes can be active simultaneously and are configured independently in the Settings page.
