Go-Live Checklist

Run through this checklist before processing live orders.
Account and credentials
• App installed from the Shopify App Store
• Walmart account connected — Settings → Walmart Account shows "Connected" badge
• All three API scope checks pass (Item Catalog, WFS Inventory, MCS Orders)
Product catalog
• Shopify product import completed (Catalog → Import Jobs shows COMPLETED)
• Walmart product import completed (Catalog → Import Jobs shows COMPLETED)
• SKU matching completed (Catalog → Import Jobs shows COMPLETED)
• No (or minimal) products in Catalog → Unmatched tab
• Products with remaining unmatched variants have been manually mapped via SKU Mappings
MCS setup (Shopify → Walmart fulfillment)
• Global MCS Sales Channel ID is set — Settings → Walmart Account → Global MCS Sales Channel ID
• At least one channel is configured (e.g. Online Store) under Sales Channel Config
• Order processing mode is chosen — Settings → Settings tab → Order Management
• If using "Wait for fulfillment request" mode: Shopify order routing is configured (Shopify Admin → Settings → Shipping → Order routing) with Walmart Fulfillment Services ranked first
• If using Shopify Flow: workflow is created and turned on
WFS setup (Walmart.com → Shopify)
• "Auto-create Shopify orders from WFS" toggle is enabled — Settings → Settings tab → WFS section
• Desired WFS order tags added (optional) — tags applied to every Shopify order created from Walmart.com
Inventory
• WFS inventory sync is enabled — Settings → Inventory & Catalog → Sync WFS inventory to Shopify
• Inventory page shows your products with Available quantities
Billing
• Plan selected matches your expected monthly order volume — Billing page
• For Advanced plan: subscription is active and confirmed
Test your setup
• Place a test order through your Shopify store
• Go to Orders in the app — the order should appear within seconds
• Confirm it moves from RECEIVED → PROCESSING → SHIPPED as Walmart processes it
• Check the Shopify order to confirm the tracking number has been written back
Tip: If you encounter issues during testing, check Dashboard → Recent Activity for a log of what the app did for each event.
