Dashboard

v1.0

The Dashboard is the first page you see when opening the app. It gives you a live summary of your fulfillment activity.

Summary stats

Five numbers at the top of the Dashboard cover the most important metrics:

• Stat: What it shows
• Total Orders: All orders tracked by the app across both WFS and MCS
• Pending: Orders in RECEIVED or PROCESSING status — Walmart has accepted them and is working on them
• Shipped: Orders that have left Walmart's warehouse
• Delivered: Orders confirmed as delivered to the customer
• Exceptions: Orders that encountered an error and need your attention

Exception alert

If any orders are in EXCEPTION status, an amber warning banner appears at the top of the page with a View Orders button. Click it to go directly to the Orders page filtered to exceptions.

Walmart not connected

If your Walmart account is not yet connected, a dark banner appears with a Connect Walmart button. Clicking it takes you to Settings where you can enter your credentials.

Onboarding checklist

When you first install the app, a checklist appears on the Dashboard that tracks your progress through the initial setup:

• Connect Walmart — completed when your credentials are saved and verified
• Receive your first order — completed when the first order appears in the app
• Ship your first order — completed when the first order reaches SHIPPED or DELIVERED status

The checklist disappears automatically once all three steps are done, or you can dismiss it manually. It will not reappear after being dismissed.

Recent Activity

Below the stats, a table shows the last 20 events logged by the app. Each row includes:

• Event type — what happened (e.g. ORDERINITIATED, ORDERFOSUBMITTED, BILLINGPLAN_CHANGED)
• Description — a plain-language explanation of the event
• Time — when it occurred

Use this table to quickly diagnose what the app has been doing for a specific order or event.

Fulfillment Setup Guide

A collapsible setup guide card appears on the Dashboard with step-by-step instructions for configuring Shopify to automatically route fulfillment orders to the app:

Step 1 — Update order routing
Link to Shopify's Order Routing settings page, where you rank the Walmart Fulfillment Services location at the top.

Step 2 — Single-location auto-fulfill
If Walmart Fulfillment Services is your only active location, you can turn on automatic fulfillment in Shopify → Settings → Checkout.

• Step 3 — Shopify Flow (multi-location)
• For stores with multiple fulfillment locations, Shopify Flow is the recommended approach. The guide includes the exact conditions and actions to configure in Flow:
• Trigger: Fulfillment order ready to fulfill
• Conditions: Location name = "Walmart Fulfillment Services" AND order is paid
• Action: Submit fulfillment request

The full 6-step Flow setup is shown in an expandable section on the Dashboard.
