Settings

v1.0

The Settings page has three tabs. Click Save Settings (top-right or bottom of page) to save changes. Walmart credentials are saved separately with their own Connect Walmart button.

Tab 1: Walmart Account

Walmart API Credentials

Enter your Walmart Client ID and Client Secret here. See Connecting Your Walmart Account for step-by-step instructions on where to find these.

Once connected, the panel turns green and shows a "Connected" badge. You can:

• Re-verify Permissions — re-run the API scope check to confirm your credentials still have the necessary access
• Disconnect Walmart — removes your stored credentials

API Permissions banner

After connecting, the app displays which API scopes your credentials have access to:

• Item Catalog — needed for product import
• WFS/MCS Inventory — needed for inventory sync
• Multichannel Solutions Orders — needed for Shopify → Walmart fulfillment

If any are missing, the banner shows guidance on how to enable them in the Walmart Developer Portal.

Sales Channel Config

Visible once Walmart is connected. Used to map each of your sales channels (Online Store, TikTok Shop, Amazon, etc.) to its Walmart MCS Channel ID.

See Per-Channel Configuration for full details.

Global MCS Sales Channel ID — The fallback Channel ID used for any order that does not match a specific channel config. Find this in Walmart Seller Center → Multichannel Solutions → Sales Channels.

Tab 2: Settings (Order Management)

MCS — Create Walmart MCS orders from Shopify

Toggle to enable or disable MCS fulfillment entirely for your store.

When enabled, the following sub-settings appear:

• Order Processing Mode
• Wait for fulfillment request — the app waits until Shopify explicitly submits a fulfillment request to your WFS location
• Auto-process when paid — the app submits to Walmart as soon as the order is paid, no fulfillment request needed

Hold Shopify fulfillment orders while Walmart ships (auto_paid mode only)
Places a Shopify hold on the fulfillment order while Walmart is processing it, preventing other fulfillment services from picking it up. Recommended.

Use Shopify order number as MCS reference
Sends your Shopify order number (e.g. #1206) as the reference identifier to Walmart MCS. Makes it easier to cross-reference orders in Walmart Seller Center.

Auto-process MCS returns
When enabled, approved MCS return requests from Walmart sync automatically back to Shopify.

MCS Shipping — Shopify → Walmart
Map Shopify shipping method titles to Walmart's STANDARD or EXPEDITED. Orders with no match use the default. See Configuring Order Fulfillment.

WFS — Auto-create Shopify orders from WFS

Toggle to enable or disable automatic Shopify order creation from Walmart.com WFS orders.

When enabled:

Create Shopify order when WFS order status is
Choose which Walmart order statuses trigger a new Shopify order. Options: RECEIVED, PROCESSING, SHIPPED. Default is RECEIVED — the earliest confirmed status.

Auto-process WFS returns
Automatically syncs WFS return requests from Walmart back to Shopify when approved.

WFS Shipping — Walmart → Shopify
Map Walmart.com shipping codes to a display title and price on the Shopify order. Price is typically $0.00 since Walmart collects the shipping fee. See Configuring Order Fulfillment.

Custom WFS Order Tags
Add up to 3 custom tags that will be applied to every Shopify order created from a Walmart.com WFS order. Useful for filtering WFS orders in Shopify Admin.

Tab 3: Inventory & Catalog

Inventory

Sync WFS inventory to Shopify
When enabled, the app regularly fetches WFS stock levels from Walmart and writes them to the Walmart Fulfillment Services location in Shopify.

Disabling this toggle also prevents MCS order routing from working correctly, because Shopify uses this inventory level to decide whether to route fulfillment orders to the app.

Low inventory threshold
The available-to-sell quantity below which a SKU shows as LOW on the Inventory page. Default: 10 units.

Product Matching

Choose the strategy used when auto-matching Shopify variants to Walmart items:

• Strategy: Best for
• Match by SKU (default): Most sellers — if your SKUs are the same on both platforms
• Match by Barcode: When your Shopify barcodes (UPC/GTIN) match your Walmart item UPCs
• Barcode first, then SKU: Mixed catalogs where some products match by barcode, others by SKU

This strategy is applied every time you run matching from the Catalog page.
